What your partner sees#

One dot per day: whether you showed up in your practice. Not what you logged, not your weight, not your chats, not a number of any kind. The mirror is honest and it is minimal, by design.

How pairing works#

You invite one person and they accept: that is the whole ceremony. The link is active only while both sides keep it, reads happen only over an active link, and either of you can end it at any time. Ending it removes the shared view on both sides.

The Duo shelf#

Your Duo lives on Profile: partner circles side by side, the honest mirror of the last days, one dot each. Nothing about Duo changes what Kata stores or where: your data stays yours, on your device.

Duo for a few more#

The same shape holds past two. Start or join a small circle around one clear thing, training, food or a habit you name, and each member sees one honest dot a day for the others, kept it or not, and nothing else: not what they logged, not their weight, not a number of any kind. It is Duo's form kept for a handful of people instead of one.

Still form only#

A group changes nothing about what leaves your device. Only a single per-day boolean, whether you showed up, ever travels, the same one dot as Duo. Everything you track stays local and private, and any member can leave at any time, which removes their dot for everyone.
