Photos.

Your camera is a logging tool. Kata reads plates for you and turns progress photos into the change the scale cannot show.

Food photos

  1. In the chat, attach a photo of your plate (or take one).
  2. The coach names what it sees and estimates protein and calories: "Looks like a salmon bowl with rice: about 38 g protein and 620 kcal."
  3. Confirm the lock-in card and it is logged. Correct it in words if the estimate is off: "more like 500 kcal".

Physique photos

Ask for a physique check in the chat, or start one from the Physique area. The camera guides you shot by shot: front, side, back, with pose tips and light cues so every session compares cleanly with the last.

  • Cadence reminders: Kata nudges you when the next session is due, on the rhythm you choose.
  • Before and after: any two dates side by side with a slider, next to the weight and protein trends behind them.
  • Sharing: your photos are private by default: share a before and after only when you choose to.
Good to know

All photos stay on your device, in IndexedDB. If you ask the coach to look at one, it is analysed for that answer and not stored anywhere else. See Your data.
