Biomarkers and documents.

Kata can read paper: lab reports become values you review and keep, doctor's letters become careful summaries, and menus get advice in the moment.

Lab reports

Photograph a lab report and the coach extracts the values it can read confidently: marker, value, unit, and the reference range exactly as printed, never one supplied from memory. A review sheet opens where you check, correct and confirm every value: nothing is stored without that confirmation. Confirmed values land in your Biomarkers home and ride your backups.

Doctor's letters

A findings letter, discharge letter or referral is never mined for values. The coach summarizes the relevant, forward-looking context in plain words, and the letter stays the doctor's voice: no contradicting, no reinterpreting a diagnosis, no comments on medication choices. It offers memory or concern cards for what genuinely helps future coaching, each confirmed by you.

A restaurant menu gets coaching in the moment against your goals and today's numbers, and allergies come first, hard: anything you react to is flagged before all else. Nothing from a menu is stored.

The hard rules

  • Contextualize, never diagnose: out-of-range values are framed without alarm, and the doctor owns the reading.
  • In-range and out-of-range only come from the report's own printed ranges.
  • Labs are a sensitive export scope: they leave your device only by your explicit choice.
