Focus.

Focus holds the two things you are actually working toward: your phase, and the personal goals and habits you set yourself. It is the why behind the daily numbers.

Your phase, up top

Focus opens with your current phase: Cut, Build, or your own, with the sub-goals that sit under it. It is the same phase that steers the whole app, shown here so the thing you are working toward is always one tap away. Set it here or in Settings.

What you are working on

Below the phase are your personal trackers: anything that matters to you and does not fit a meal or a lift. Stop smoking, cut sugar, meditate daily, less screen time, cold showers, quit alcohol: you name it and Kata tracks it.

Trackers that fit the goal

Each tracker takes the shape its goal needs: a simple yes or no for a daily habit, a streak for a clean run, a countdown for a number you are bringing down, a build-up for one you are growing, or a running quantity against a target. Kata picks a sensible shape from what you describe.

Log it any way

Tap a tracker to log it, or just tell the coach ("meditated 10 minutes", "no cigarettes today") and it lands as a lock-in card like everything else. Trackers you keep up feed the same honest picture the rest of Kata draws from.

Good to know

Ask the coach to set one up: "help me quit vaping" and it proposes a tracker you confirm. Paused, reached and archived trackers keep their history, so a goal you finish stays part of your story.
